Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Daedong-USA data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Daedong-USA, Inc. (which operates Kioti Tractor Division) experienced a significant cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to certain systems on or around January 23, 2024. The Daedong-USA data breach, which was discovered in mid-October 2024, reportedly compromised the personal information of 10,643 individuals.
The types of data accessed varied for each person and included sensitive details such as names, contact information, birth dates, copies of government-issued IDs like driver's licenses and passports, Social Security numbers, and financial details like bank account and payment card numbers. Additionally, medical and health-related data, health insurance information, usernames and passwords, and work-related information were also affected.
The company, best known for manufacturing Kioti tractors and other farm equipment, is notifying those impacted and taking steps to secure its systems.
If your information was exposed in the Kioti data breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Daedong-USA to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
