Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Cross Valley data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
On December 4, 2024, Cross Valley Federal Credit Union identified suspicious activity within its network and learned that unauthorized access had occurred. External cybersecurity experts were engaged to investigate the incident’s nature and scope.
The investigation revealed that the unauthorized access may have compromised members’ sensitive data, including names, addresses and Social Security numbers.
The company reported that 17,826 people were affected by the Cross Valley Federal Credit Union data breach.
