Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Coleman Health Services data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Coleman Professional Services, Inc., which does business as Coleman Health Services, recently experienced a data breach where unauthorized access was gained to several employee email accounts. The breach occurred between September 18, 2023 and October 31, 2023. Although it could not be confirmed if specific emails or attachments were accessed, an extensive review was conducted to determine if any personal information was present in the affected accounts. The review revealed that personal information such as first names, last names, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, and, in some cases, health information was exposed. A total of 51,889 individuals were affected by this breach.
Coleman Health Services provides comprehensive behavioral health, residential, employment, and supportive services to ten Ohio counties and surrounding communities.
