Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the BayMark Health Services data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
BayMark Health Services, Inc. recently experienced a data breach affecting several of its healthcare facilities, which include BAART Programs, Healthcare Resource Centers, and MedMark Treatment Centers. The breach occurred between September 24, 2024 and October 14, 2024, when an unauthorized party gained access to some of BayMark's IT systems. This unauthorized access was discovered on October 11, 2024, prompting BayMark to secure its systems, launch a forensic investigation, and involve law enforcement.
By November 5, 2024, it was determined that the files exposed in the BayMark Health Services data breach contained sensitive patient information, such as names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, birth dates, service and treatment details, insurance data, and diagnosis information. In response, BayMark began notifying affected patients on January 8, 2025.
