Ashford Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Ashford data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
On September 20, 2023, Ashford, which specializes in asset management for companies within the hospitality industry, discovered suspicious activity on its computer network. An investigation revealed that an unauthorized individual had gained access to certain systems on September 7 of last year and obtained files containing individuals’ personal information.
The data breach has reportedly exposed the names and Social Security numbers of more than 46,900 individuals.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Ashford to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
