Around the Clock Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Around the Clock data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Around the Clock Companies, a home care services provider in Bakersfield, California, recently disclosed a data security breach that resulted in unauthorized access to its computer network. The breach was identified on June 18, 2024, but forensic analysis revealed that the unauthorized access spanned from January 30, 2024 to June 18, 2024. During this period, an unknown actor accessed and copied files containing sensitive data.
The information compromised in the Around the Clock data breach includes individuals' names, addresses, Social Security numbers, health insurance information, billing and claims details, and various medical information such as diagnoses, lab results, medications, and treatment details. The specific data compromised varies for each individual.
Around the Clock is currently reviewing the affected files and notifying potentially impacted individuals, which may include patients, clients of Around the Clock, and clients of payee organizations.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Around the Clock to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
