AGC Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the AGC data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
AGC America, Inc., a subsidiary of Japanese glass manufacturing company AGC, sent notice to affected individuals on February 12, 2024 that it had experienced a data security incident. The company determined that between December 12 and December 17, 2023, an unauthorized actor accessed and acquired certain files from its computer network.
The accessed files contained personal information such as names, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account information, passport information, payment card numbers, company network login credentials and limited health insurance plan enrollment information for current and former participants.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force AGC to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
