Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Affinity Health Services data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Affinity Health Services (AHS), a management and consulting company for senior living communities, experienced a network security incident on April 24, 2023, leading to unauthorized access to certain individuals' personal information. The unauthorized access may have exposed sensitive information belonging to current and former patients and employees, including first and last names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, medical record numbers, patient ID numbers, Medicare/Medicaid numbers, health insurance information, financial account information, and credit/debit card numbers.
Those affected by the Affinity Health Services data breach are being notified of the incident, and a sample letter provided to the Montana attorney general states that Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, was one of the impacted facilities.
