Advantis Global Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Advantis Global data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Around October 21, 2022, Advantis Global, an IT staffing agency, discovered a security breach in its corporate email system. Based on an investigation into the incident the company says concluded in late November 2023, Advantis determined that an unauthorized party acquired certain emails containing personal information between August 18 and October 24, 2022.
The private data of about 5,666 individuals was compromised, including names, addresses, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, government-issued ID numbers, and financial information such as account numbers and credit or debit card numbers.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Advantis Global to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
